What this site knows.
This page describes what happens on kvitney.com. Booking, payment and your appointment history live on Vagaro, which is a separate company with its own privacy notice, covered below.
What this website collects from you
Nothing directly. There is no contact form, no account to create, no newsletter sign-up and no payment form anywhere on this site. It never asks for your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, payment details, or any information about your skin or health.
What is measured
The site records how it is used, so the studio can tell which pages are useful and whether advertising is worth the money. That means:
- Which booking button you used, and which treatment it was attached to.
- When a treatment is opened, and which one.
- Clicks on the gift card and manage-appointments links.
- Arrival on the booking confirmation page after a completed booking.
- Ordinary web analytics: pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and the site or advert you arrived from.
This is interest in a treatment, not a record of your skin. The studio sees that a page about acne was read; it does not see who read it, and this site never asks for your name or your email address.
Which treatment you looked at is deliberately not shared with the advertising tools below. They are told that a booking happened, not what it was for. That is a choice rather than a technical limit: advertising platforms can recognise a returning browser and, in Meta’s case, match it to an account, and tying a skin concern to an identifiable person is not something a skincare studio should be doing.
Tools that do the measuring
Google Tag Manager loads the measurement tags used on the site, currently Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion measurement. These set cookies in your browser and are governed by Google’s privacy policy.
The Meta pixel measures whether advertising on Facebook and Instagram leads to bookings. It records page views and completed bookings, and Meta may connect that to your Facebook or Instagram account if you have one. It is not told which treatment you were reading about. See Meta’s privacy policy.
Vercel Analytics counts page views without cookies and without following you to other sites. Vercel also hosts the site, so its servers process requests and keep standard logs, including IP addresses. See the Vercel privacy notice.
Fonts and images are served from this site itself. Loading a page here does not quietly fetch a font or an image from somewhere else.
What is kept in your browser
Two small values, both stored on your own device and neither readable by anyone else:
- The treatment you clicked Book on, with the time you clicked it, so a completed booking can be attributed to the right treatment. It expires after two hours, and is erased as soon as it is used.
- A marker noting that a booking was already counted, so reloading the confirmation page does not count it twice. It disappears when you close the tab.
Cookies on this site are set by the Google tags described above, not by the site itself.
Booking, payment and your appointments
Every Book button sends you to Vagaro, the scheduling service the studio uses. Anything you type there — your name, contact details, payment information, appointment history and anything you tell the studio about your skin — is collected by Vagaro, not by this website. Gift certificates and client sign-in are also Vagaro.
Read the Vagaro privacy policy for how they handle it. After a booking, Vagaro returns you to a confirmation page here; that return tells this site a booking happened, and nothing about who made it or what was booked beyond the treatment you had already clicked.
Writing to hello@kvitney.com sends your message to the studio inbox, where it is kept so the conversation can be continued. It is not added to a mailing list.
Your choices
Browser settings and tracking-blocker extensions will stop most of the measurement described here, and the site works normally without it. Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics. Meta’s ad preferences control how your activity is used for advertising there. Clearing site data removes the two browser values above. Information held by Vagaro is managed through your Vagaro account or by asking the studio.
For anything held by the studio itself, or to ask what that is, email hello@kvitney.com. If you live somewhere that gives you rights over your personal data, use the same address and say what you would like.
Children
This site is meant for adults and is not directed at children.
Changes
If what the site records changes, this page changes with it. Last updated 2026-10-14.
